Going to attempt to keep this one shorter - sorry, but I need some sleep!

This morning we went to church. Like real, AFRICAN style church. We could learn a thing or two from them. Such PASSION. And it didn't matter that we were in a loosely boarded up building with pouring rains splashing in...we worshiped. They also sang "Happy Birthday" to me, first in English and then in Kinyarwandan. Somehow, despite the incredible volume, the kids slept through the entire 2 1/2 service. =O)

We had a little Smith family lunch after that. Very nice. And then we went to see the places around town where the adopted kids were originally found. We didn't get to see where Elijah was found, because he was from a village about an hour away. But we did see the mosque in Kigali where someone had apparently dropped off Ellie when she was around 12 months old - they must have taken her from there to the orphanage.

After breaking our hearts yet again by having to drop the kids back off at the orphanage, Erin and I had the pleasure of going to a friends house (she did a mission trip here a couple of years ago). It was truly a great time sitting in a Rwandan home instead of a hotel.

PLEASE pray for God to continue orchestrating everything, so that we can keep on schedule and leave for Ethiopia this Thursday to process our children's visas. Also, please pray that tomorrow we would be able to take the kids for good instead of having to drop them off every night. It's possible, but not probable. They need to just be with us, so we truly covet your prayers and believe God can do anything.
